Feedback Made Easier!! Two Frameworks To Provide More Meaningful Feedback to Your Learners

Feedback is a ubiquitous skill that is critical in medical education where learners must master complex skills of knowledge, communication and professionalism. Teachers need helpful tools that can aid in this important process. We have designed a workshop that focuses ADAPT and R2C2 frameworks recognized by ACGME to be valuable in formative and summative feedback respectively. Both these frameworks allow for increased learner engagement and a growth mindset with a coaching approach. Participants will learn about the steps of these frameworks through interactive role play. Majority of the workshop will be interactive where the participants will practice using the frameworks to provide feedback on various milestones including medical knowledge, professionalism, communication skills and systems based practice. The workshop will end with a debrief of the techniques. By the end of the workshop, the participants will become comfortable using two feedback frameworks.
